Description

In this session on Employee Stock Ownership Plans you will review tax, legal and plan design issues. You will also discuss typical examples of how an ESOP is used to buy out an owner, ranging from Prefunded ESOPs to partial (30%) buyouts to total buyouts in order to take advantage of both tax savings and employee incentive considerations. In addition, you will learn how to finance these transactions. Be sure to bring your own questions for our experts!
