Description
Twenty Seven years ago was eerily similar to today with high unemployment, very little capital available and a government that was frantically looking for ways to create more jobs. In Springfield, Missouri a group of employees took the bull by the horns and accepted the reality that jobs are created by business people and if they wanted to create a way of life where they could stay in one company, in one community, and build a business that would focus on job creation it had to start with them and it did. This is the story of how one company saved their own jobs and built a business model that would go against the grain. They built a model where they would use their organization to attract more businesses to their community. Their business would be a tool to bring great companies into their marketplace and build and grow prosperous opportunities for not only the associates but their neighbors and future generations as well. Hear Jack Stack talk about how a company of business people used their organization to attract and lure businesses into their community and leave a legacy for the next generation.
